Watering the vegetable beds had become a daily meditation. That was until, I discovered the joys of listening to music on my ipod while hosing.
Occasionally when I am finished I like to sit at the base of the tank and have some time out. Sometimes I think about my future plans for the garden. Sometimes I mentally list the tasks we need to do on the weekend. Maybe I’ll watch the birds or the clouds.
And sometimes I’m just avoiding doing the washing up.

Just found your blog on someone else’s site, love your photos, how do you get such vivid colours?

Ahhh… Australia has good light for photography, but I do take most of my photos in the afternoon to avoid shadows. We use a home made light box for the indoor shots (see here – http://theeurocupandplate.wordpress.com/about/). Indoor shots we use a gray card and then I may tweak them in photoshop. Outdoor shots I don’t usually tweak. My digital SLR does most of the work though!
